Its over!

This blog has the same title as the one recently posted on dexter's faithtogod.blogspot.com.... However, i am going to take a more philosphical view of things and not such drastic a measure like dex over there... anyway, the thing is, i came up with this idea about SPM being over... have any of you watch THE SHAWSHANKS REDEMPTION??? when that old man who mends the library, i think his name was berg... anyway yeah, he was released from shawshanks prison after spending about 3/4 of his life in it... after tyring to fit into society, he decides that he doesnt know what he wants to do in life anymore and hung himself.

Now, that's not the point of me recalling this story... what i'm trying to say is... after 11 years of studying, which is approximately 3/4 of our current lives, we are now free... sort of anyway... (i know, there's still college, form 6 and uni)free from prison!!! no more uniforms to wear to school, no more stupid school rules to live by, no more nagging from teachers like prison wardens... so yeah... there's also the good part of school life, the friendships we have built, the relationships with teachers and friends alike... so, what are we gonna do with our lives??? what's the next step? we've waited 11 years for this moment... since we stepped into standard 1, this has been the moment we have been waiting for... to be released to society... carpe diem (which means seize the moment) what are you waiting for?? dun bore yourself at home, call your friends whom you won't be seeing for a very long time more, let's party ppl... ONWARD TO THE PROM...

Its true what you said, and i have thought about the same thing too! About the whole 11 years in school, but my fear was more into the fact of failing my exams... if i did fail, i would have waisted 11 years studying! [oh and about the 3/4 of your lives, i didnt know you planned to live till you are 54.] It scares me knowing that now i have to step into the real world! In f 1, we knew that no matter what we would still make it to the next year.. now im just scared of everything! Even the idea of being this free now is scarry! hahaha! but still, i know i wont be keeping in touch with many of my old school and class mates, but damn, i will always keep them at heart!
