Mass with Francis Cardinal Arinze

I read this post on the Archdiocesan Website with great surprise and delight...

His Eminence, Cardinal Francis Arinze will celebrate a special mass for the African Community in St. Mary’s Pro Cathedral on WEDNESDAY, 23rd May ’07 at 6.15pm.

All are welcome.

Members of the African community take part with performances of traditional African music and dances. Light refreshments will be provided afterwards.

For those who do not know, Cardinal Arinze is a Nigerian cardinal who is currently the Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments.

Should I attend the mass with my camera and all and get a picture with him??? hehe... would be quite obvious, as I would be quite visible among the congregation on that day...

While you're at it, ask him why the hell does he permit liturgical abuse to continue.

If you ask them personally, you'll get some very revealing reasons for their inaction.
