A red hat looming?

The Archbishop of Dublin has been traditionally appointed as a Cardinal, and the current occupant of the see, Archbishop Dr. Dairmuid Martin is probably in line for a red hat soon. Especially since I read this statement on the Archdiocese website.

Latin Mass Chaplaincy

In response to Pope Benedcit’s recent Apostolic Letter Summorum Pontificum, Archbishop Martin has established a Chaplaincy for the faithful of the Diocese attached to the older form of the Roman rite (the ‘extraordinary’ from). Fr Gerard Deighan has been appointed Chaplain, and will be assisted by Frs Michael G. Nevin and William Richardson.

Hmm... this is interesting news indeed.

I thought you don't like the Latin Mass? Try the Missa Cantata or High Mass. Don't go low.
