Last weekend, i made a pastoral visit to the Diocese of Nottingham, which is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Westminster. I attended the 11.15am solemn mass with Latin chants incorporated at the mother church of the diocese, the Cathedral Church of St. Barnabas.

This is the leaflet which they provided for us to follow the proceedings...

The Cathedral Church from outside, is quite a beautiful sight...

The interior is equally as pleasing to the eye, simple and yet you get a sense of the supreme dwelling in it... Notice the Advent Wreath on the far right

This is the Lady Chapel which is behind the main altar and the choir

The chair (Lt= cathedra), from which the word Cathedral comes about because it holds the bishops chair...

The main altar again, the person on the right in black robes is the priest who celebrated the mass earlier on, and the person on the left in white robes is the deacon (who to my astonishment, hails from Malaysia!!!)
