Cooly... cooly... he started calling after alighting from the train but there wasn't a cooly nearby... A gentleman who had been standign nearby heard the call and went to him and said "Can i help you?"... "I hvae a heavy suitcase and i would like you to carry it for me as far as my hotel"..."No problem" said the gentleman, and the two walked side by side... when his destination came, the young man took charge of the suicase and offered the stranger some money by way of tips which the latter olitely refused...the matter seemed to end there. The next day, the yougn man had to go to a public place to listen to a great Indian scholar by the name of Ishwachandravijaysaga, this was his reason for coming to this village and imagine his enbarassment when he found that the learned speaker was none other than the stranger that had played the cooly... the scholars greatness lay in his humility. There is a saying, learning imparts humility... Charles Newton, the great scientist and mathematician said: " I am like an urchin, playing by the seashore with pebbles while the whole ocean of learnign lies unexplored before me "
Parting thought for reflection -
Humility is not bowing down to others, it is an inspiration for others to bow down to your virtues...
