Guess where I am now? The LIBRARY, oh it's been such a long time since I've been inside this place to actually study, it's usually just to borrow books and return them.
I feel a sense of accomplishment today even though it's only 3.30p.m. I slept at 3am this morning and woke up at 11. Had lunch with Kingsley and his parents, showed them to the car rental shop, went to the JPA office, had a little but long chat with En. Jamal (about 40 minutes) and in the process sorting out my summer holidays and my accomodation for next year plus extra plans for holidays, went to the bank to cancel my ATM card, got an application form for a credit card, and now, like 5 minutes ago, just advised my sister on which university to pick for her masters. All in the matter of 4 hours... that's a lot accomplished... now the only thing left today is to get some work doen on my HBS project and attend mass... Am looking forward to another fruitful day tomorrow...
SO maybe living in solitude is not such a bad idea after all? when you do not need to depend on what other people are doing and accomodate them... being your own man... but then again, being used to the noise and the interactions of living in community, I cant help but sometimes to feel lonely... even though it's only been 4 days into the holidays...
Anyway, I leave on Thursday for York and will only be back on Easter Monday, that will truly be the test of solitude, to be literally alone, living under the rule of silence, taking walks and reflecting on my purpose in life, getting to get to know God closer and to comprehend deeper the passion, death and resurrection and what it means. To seek wisdom in all that I do, in all that I say and in all that I think...Oh, and hopefully to witness some beautiful easter liturgies this Easter Triduum .

indeed.. no one around will mean a much quieter yet lonelier environment to live under... living far away means that at times i feel lonely myself, having been raised in a boarding school...
boarding school... sigh... :)
What weird and wonderful names these people have.
