My Favourite Hymns Meme

Firstly, I need to apologize to those who keep on tagging me for some Meme's ( I wonder how i pronounce the word and what it means...). Life has been pretty hectic here, and I do not see it getting any less hectic, and as such, I will try to fulfill all these meme's in the summer.

But anyway, since I have 15 minutes to kill now, I'm just listing down my favourite hymns for Andrew.

Lets start with the Traditional Latin ones.
-Veni Creator Spiritus (the first latin hymn I downloaded proved to be a favourite)
-Salve Regina (the first latin hymn I was taught to sing in school)
-Tantum Ergo
-Te Deum
-Lamentations of Jeremiah (I fell in love with it this Easter)
-If the mass propers, gloria and credo are counted, they are one of my favourites
-Pater Noster... and the list goes on and on

Right then, the more Solemn English ones:
- Holy God We Praise Thy Name
-O Holy Night
-Divine Praises
-Hosea
-Old Rugged Cross
-As the Deer Pants
-As I Kneel Before You
-Swing Low Sweet Chariot

The more fast sounding, clappy and modern English songs:
-Be not afraid
-We are One Body
-Jesus, We Enthrone You
-The Servant Song
-Offering- Paul Baloche
-My All in All
-All We Like Sheep
-Friends are Friends Forever- Michael W. Smith
-Magnificat- David Haas

The International Songs, sung in languages other than English, and at International Events
-Jubilate Deo- Marco Frisina
-Emmanuel (official theme song for WYD 2000)
-Nada Es Imposible para Ti- Hermana Glenda
-Jesus Christ, You are My Life- Marco Frisina
-Kami and Seisi Rumah Ku- Franky Sihombing
-Kita Sebagai Umat Kristus
-Singabahambayo- Traditional African

Hi Mark

Where can i download the midi or mp3 of your list of beautiful songs? I'd like use them as background music for the webpages i'm currently creating for the Carmelite Sisters in Seremban. If possible, please email them to me at info@carmelite-seremban.org

Much appreciated if you can lend a hand to promote the website to the local Catholic blog community by encouraging them to add a link at their websites or blogs or list it in directories you are aware of.

Let all that you do be done in love.

Meantime, I pray you make it to the Vatican next Easter :)

Continue to Be Love... that you are, in Christ... by the Peace Prayer of St Francis of Assisi.

Amen :)
