Primum non nocere

Just when you thought you had someone figured out, that you will know what that someone will do, how his/her thoughts are mapped out, and suddenly, out of no where, that someone does something unexpected, uncharacteristic of the person you thought he/she was, and you have to go back to the drawing blocks... eliminating one of your differential diagnoses which you thought was foolproof.

What do you do? How should you feel?

Just when you thought someone had a stand, and would have the guts to stick by it, achieving a Stage VI in Kohlberg's Moral Development Model, when in actual fact he/she is only at Stage II. When you think that that someone was someone you would have liked to get to know better but now think twice if it is the effort.

What do you do? How should you feel?

Just when you thought you knew what you were looking for and knew where to look for it, knew how much it would cost, and how long it would take, and then you realise the real meaning of possesing it. When you are ready to commit to it, and then find that it take much more than what you calculated to possess it, that you may never possess your dream.

What do you do? How should you feel?

Always remember, PRIMUM NON NOCERE...

Firstly, do no harm...
