I was recently talking to Joo Ken about how we should foster closer ties with other Malaysian students who are currently in the region.
There is the UKEC, the United Kingdom and Eire Council for Malaysian Students, of which the Eire part is often forgotten, and each university in the UK have their own Malaysian Students Society.
There are many event which take place in the UK for Malaysian students, but in Ireland barely anything is done.
Anyway, an article titled "Preparations underway for games" was published today about the Nottingham Games, of which my college is not involved, but I wish was. Maybe we should do something about it this year?
Well what do you think could work to foster closer ties with other Malaysians around this region? or what have your Universities done towards this aim? It would be good if you could share your comments here for me to ponder on.
