Have you ever been asked a stupid question? What was your answer?
I was once asked if I was GOD... Can you imagine that? Someone coming up to you and asking "Who do you think you are? GOD???"
My first reaction was "Why, how did you recognise me?" and I am tempted further to reply "YES", but only God knows what prevented me.
On hindsight, maybe I should have said yes and asked that dude to start worshipping me. How stupid can he get? This guy here in the picture below ladies and gents, is the guy who posed that question to me. I was so happy (not) that I took a picture for keepsakes.
As the story goes, I was on board a flight from Marrakesh in Morocco to Frankfurt in Germany, and there was a German guy who was sitting next to me in the plane, a RyanAir flight (which gives testament to their claim that they carry all sorts of people on board). This dude above comes and sits right next to me because he was late in and as RyanAir operates a free seating policy, he had no where else to sit.
As I was trying to take pictures of the scenery, which I thought would be a good topic to blog on, he taps me and says "You are not allowed to take pictures", and I go silently "Who on earth are you to tell me that?".
During the flight, he changed his seat to the front but later on, towards the end of the flight, he had to be asked to return to his original seat (padan muka) and once again as I am trying to snap some pictures, he taps me on my back and shouts "Thanks a lot for caring about my safety, who do you think you are? God? Feck!"
Anyway, I thought it would be nice to remember this dude and so I snapped a picture of him as he was leaving the plane, and if the picture above wasnt clear enough, I've blown up his pic below.
Now, the irony is that this dude whipped out his camera phone when the captain announced that we were about to pass Gibraltar on our right, and he turns on his phone and starts to snap away. Wow! Turning on a handphone during the flight? I could get him sued. Oh well, there's the very interesting man again:
p.s. I forgot to take my camera cover and my memory card reader from the plane as a result of taking this picture, they were left in my seat...

I recall the story... and I hope that it was worth it. It's great having a face to anathematize, would have been better had you the name to go with it.
But when he took out his phone, why din u say anything?
No, I just thought that I would fulfill my vow to make him famous on my blog.
I didn't say anything cause it didnt occur to me then that he did what he did..i mean if you were able to tell me not to do something, you should know what you're doing, so i overlooked the fact that he didnt...stupid me.
OH ! you really should have told him off when he took his phone out !!! Argh ! *sigh*
and btw that's an "expensive" picture....poor u, lost your camera cover and card reader because of him.. so not worth it...=(
