Autism

During this exam period, I will be posting most frequently on this blog rather than separating out my posts into the relevant blogsite...

Anyway, I was going through my notes today when I came across this:

Going through each of the captions:
Displays indifference
No eye contact
Does not play with other children
Echolalic- copies words like parrot

One sided interaction
Lack of creative, pretend play
Talks incessantly only about one topic

I could relate to most of them at a certain part of my life... Maybe I was or am autistic?

The previous slide did offer some hope though...

Asperger's- a subtype diagnosed when language/intellectual ability is not affected...

Could that be the answer? Could I be an savant in some senses?
