After a 3 month hiatus, I arrived safely back in Dublin yesterday afternoon. Thanks to everyone back home for the company and time they were willing to sacrifice to be with a person as unworthy of the friendship as me. I have been absent from blogging for quite a while now, with my initial plan of blogging while on holiday being highly unsuccessful. I currently have a backlog of subjects to blog about and will set about trying to set things right, though it will be kind of slow for the next 2 weeks as I will be away travelling again. Will try to update my William blog while on travels. Where will I be? On this Tuesday, the 18th I will be flying to Bristol, to visit my cousin in Bath and spend my 20th birthday there. I also hope to visit some friends in Summerset and Glastonbury before coming back the following Monday night. Then after having rested for about 6 hours, I will be leaving for Norway, with a transit in London. We hope to visit Oslo, Tromso to watch the Aurora Borealis, then to hop over the border to Kiruna in Sweden before landing up finally in Stockholm before flying back on the October 2nd, the day university reopens. Do pray for the success of these apostolic visits.
Anyway, this morning, I am sitting in front of Custom House Quay while entering this post. I have been pondering much about my move over the summer to split my blogs up according to category. I have decided to go ahead and implement this idea according to the Motu Proprio till year end, with some minor adjustment, before I re-evaluate the situation, and consider any other further action. As such I have been trying hard to find a new name for this blog here. Longing for a Latin name, “Introibo ad Altare Dei”. “ Deo Volente” and “Anathema” were among those that came to mind, but I now decree that this blog will henceforth be known as CONFESSIO, named after the Confessio of St. Patrick, patron saint of Ireland.
